The Nevada County Ostomy Support Group is a small group of people who have had an Ostomy or an associated operation that get together to discuss their medical problems and offer support to each other. We presently have approximately twenty nine people who are interested in our group and more interested parties are being found monthly. We established ourselves after the disbandment of the the Auburn Ostomy Group. Our meetings are informal and last about an hour to an hour and one half. There is no cost to you other than having transportation to get to the meeting. We attempt, when possible, to have a speaker who is involved with our interests. You are welcome to bring your spouse or any one else that would like to attend with you. If you have a request for a specific speaker please contact Bob or Sam.
