Our November meeting was held on November 29, 2005. It was intended to have the Hollister representative at the meeting but he had to cancel at the last minute. At the meeting were 10 members. A discussion was held about various ostomy problems. Then Bob explained about Osto Group and where we stand with obtaining a supplier. The planned meeting for September was held Oct. 4, 2005 because of conflicts with Bob and Sam's availability. It was a small meeting but with long discussions on ostomy and related problems. We held our July meeting on July 26th at the Sierra Nevada Home Care facility. We had a small attendance of four people plus Bob and myself. The talk resolved mainly, around various ostomy problems. Bob then spent some time explaining about the Osto Group that we have in the start up stage. Our meeting, held May 31st, was very successful with 10 attendees. The main thrust of the meeting was Gary Berger, the local Hollister representative attending and talking about their new appliance products. Garry also brought large boxes of excess supplies for us to re-distribute to people without insurance. Thank you, Gary. The meeting of March 29th, 2005, was short in attendees but good on information. A good amount of time was spent in discussing various problems that several of the attendees have. Also, time was spent discussing the Nevada County Ostomy Support Group's non-profit business plan that is being supplied to various groups in an attempt to find a group to take over the supplying of ostomy material to un-insured ostomy patients. Our first
meeting of the year 2005 was held at the Sierra Nevada Homecare facility in
Grass Valley. There were 7 people in attendance. One man and his wife were the
