11/19/02 - Our luncheon meeting held at Eskaton Village was very successful. There were 18 people in attendance. We had a discussion about our success in supplying Ostomy material that had been donated to the group to needy people around the States, Canada and Iran. The Ostomy Support Group meeting, held September 24, 2002, had seven attendees. Various discussions were held and we decided that our next meeting will be held a Eskaton Village, in Grass Valley, if arrangements can be made. Our meeting held July 30, 2002 was very successful. It was held a Quail Ridge in Grass Valley, an assisted living retirement complex that is only two years old. We had 12 members attend along with four Spouses. Our meeting of May 21, 2002 was a good meeting with Mark Patenau giving a presentation on Convatec products. Our meeting held on Tuesday, March 26, 2002 was very successful even though the planned speaker did not attend. We had 12 attendees with 5 of those being there for the first time. They came from as far away as Auburn and Yuba city. Our meeting held on January 29, 2002 was a great success. We had nine members plus one new member in attendance. Speaking was Jane Cornwell, an ET nurse from Marysville, Ca. and Kathy Ellis, the Hollister Sales Representative from this area. There was a lot of information that was provided to all of us including samples of various products. This page was last updated 05/26/08 |
