Our meeting held Dec. 12, 2000 was a general conversation about how to solve some of our problems. We will be attempting to obtain a speaker for our January meeting. It was also to apply for membership with the United Ostomy Society.

    The meeting held Oct 31, 2000, was very successful as we had a new Attendee and some old ones. As there was not an agenda, healthy discussions were held about our problems and how we solve them. It was decided to hold an additional meeting this year on Dec. 12, 2000 as there was going to be a 3 month gap until the next meeting in January, 2001.

      Our meeting held on August 29, 2000 mainly centered around reviewing the WEB design and making some corrections and additions. It was agreed that a link would be made to the Sierra Nevada Home Care WEB and that a page of contact names and numbers would be put up for those who may need help.

    The meeting held on June 6, 2000 did not have a speaker as the one selected was sick and not able to attend. Time was spent discussing where to buy appliances and to get help if needed.

    The meeting held on March 28, 2000, had Mark Patenau as a speaker. He is the local sales representative for Convatec.

    The meeting held on January 25, 2000 had Dr. Jeb Kane, a retired Doctor in the area, as a speaker, who is very familiar with our problems.
